FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has counter 1 with accumulating chamber 2, measuring chamber 3, float 4, valve 5, and tube 6. L-shaped branch pipe 9 has circular insert 10 with hole 12 adjustable by means of screw 11. Calibrated hole 13 is open to tank 14. As a batch of milk is collected in the measuring chamber, float 4 rises, an so do the tube and valve until the latter is fully shut. Through hole 12 milk is displaced into tank 14 via calibrated hole 13. The sample volume is adjustable by turning screw 11 to reduce opening of hole 12. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
