FIELD: visual aids. SUBSTANCE: device comprises casing with upper and lower covers, topographic maps, discs, magnetic pieces with pictures of map fragments or symbols corresponding to picture on topographic map. Located in central part of casing is base with parts of graduated compass limbs, and rotatably installed magnet. Discs are made of ferromagnetic material and installed on upper and lower surfaces of magnet. Topographic maps are secured on disc sides. Magnetic pieces are positioned on topographic maps with a provision for being moved and withdrawn therefrom. EFFECT: improved design. 7 dwg
