FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: strain of P. megasperma is obtained by isolation in pure culture from infected alfalfa roots. In the process of strain isolation acidified corn-flour agarized medium containing antibiotics and fungicide is used. Strain shows high pathogenicity with respect to alfalfa that provides possibility for development of severe infectious background and precise selection of resistant strains.
