FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: enhanced accuracy of measurements of three-component pickup of magnetic field is achieved by special fabrication of base which carries coils of ferroprobes 2, 3, 4 in the form of ball 1. Ball 1 is placed into body 8 of borehole magnetometer with the help of axes of rotation 5, 6 and frame 7. Center of gravity of ball 1 with ferroprobes 2, 3, 4 is located below axis 5 of rotation.
