FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: frequency doubler has three rectifier bridges built around diodes 1 and adding unit which is three-phase electromagnetic system with core 4 and two half-windings 2 and 3 in each phase. Rectifier inputs are connected to respective phases of supply mains and their outputs, to respective pair of adding unit inputs formed by common points of connection of two half-windings of respective adjacent phases interconnected in series or in parallel. Adding unit is multiphase arrangement. EFFECT: facilitated frequency increase, improved reliability, simplified design. 1 dwg
