FIELD: investigation of drilling process. SUBSTANCE: general-purpose model of drill bit has three bearing cylinders arranged coaxially. Lower base of cylinders is put on immobile plate. Upper base is fitted with rock breaking members. Shifter is installed between plate and cylinders. Rock breaking members are mounted on detachable cutting tool holders anchored on locating bushings. Bushings are attached to upper base of cylinders. Grooves for turn of external and internal cylinders for needed angle with respect to central cylinder are made in lower base of external cylinder and in shifter. Bushings are mounted for vertical displacement. Grooves enabling radial displacement of members of equipment to be changed are made in cutting tool holders. Central hole to deliver flushing liquid through pipe union is made in internal bearing bushing. Annular grooves are cut in external side of bearing cylinders and in shifter. Measurement transducers are installed in these grooves. EFFECT: expanded investigative properties. 2 cl, 4 dwg
