FIELD: automotive industry; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: gas from liquefied gas bottle 13 is delivered to inlet channel 19 of carburetor 2 of engine 1 through gas regulator 17 and first shutoff valve 15 or second shutoff valve 16 installed in parallel. Third shutoff valve 11 on main line along which gasoline is fed to carburetor can be either closed or opened. In the latter case fuel mixture octane rating is raised which enhances environmental protection and increases service life of engine. Control of gas delivery into engine is provided by accelerator pedal which acts onto carburetor throttle valve rigidly coupled with turning spool 22 installed in intake channel of carburetor 2. To enhance vaporization of gas in bottle at intensive operation in the run, bottle is heated by air from car interior heater through air duct in which gas line is placed. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
