FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for keeping axial tension is made of central and periphery chambers received in the shaft and interconnected trough radial passages. The chambers are separated by a piston received in the passages and are filled with hydro-plastic. A pressing bushing has a working space, which is in communication with the central chamber, and interact with the inner race of one of the bearings. EFFECT: decreased friction and heat losses upon enhanced speed of rotation of the shaft. 3 cl, 3 dwg
