FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: air gap is formed between expanded end of center leg of magnetic core and its base. Primary winding is placed on to center leg. Secondary winding consisting of two differentially connected sections positioned at angle to each other and embracing base of magnetic core is mounted for movement. There are supplementary secondary windings connected in series aiding with main one and composed of pairs of differentially connected sections located at proper angle with respect to each other. Correction of nonlinearity of output characteristic of converter is ensured by selection of angle between sections. EFFECT: increased accuracy of transformer conversion of linear movements. 1 dwg
