FIELD: screening technology. SUBSTANCE: trommel has horizontally rotatably mounted drum 1 with a cylindrical sieving surface and end walls 2 which form an overflow threshold. Overflow pocket 5 which communicates with an initial product reservoir is located under the threshold. Feed manifold 3 is located over the overflow threshold, and its nozzles 4 - perpendicularly to sieving surface 2 for material feed over the overflow threshold.
