FIELD: aircraft engineering. SUBSTANCE: compartment has frames 1, stringers 2 and shell 3 which, in turn, has separate rectangular sheets. The sheet dimensions comply with the distance between adjacent stringers 2 and frames 1. The sheets are fastened to load-carrying members by a rivet joint so as to mount the rivets on the front down the flow edge of each sheet at a step which is half as many of the step in the rivet joints of the other three sides. EFFECT: maintained serviceability and repairability at explosion. 3 dwg
