FIELD: mining machine manufacturing. SUBSTANCE: transportation of loaded dipper of walking excavator is conducted with simultaneous operation of hoisting 4, pulling 5 and supplementary 6 winches. Synchronous operation of winches is provided for due to automatic take-up of slack of supplementary cable 9 when motor of supplementary winch 6 runs under mode of plugging. Guaranteed holding of dipper 1 in transportation position is carried out with the help of tackle block which ration is equal to K=a·Smax/Sδ, where a is stability margin of dipper; Smax is maximal value of effort over arch of dipper necessary to keep loaded dipper in transportation position and directed along line connecting centers of unloading and supplementary unloading blocks; Sδ is effort in slack side of supplementary cable (from drum of supplementary winch). When dipper arrives to point of unloading its discharge is accomplished by easing of drag 8 and supplementary 9 cables. Then dipper is lowered into face again and new operational cycle is performed.
