FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: controlled rectifier drive has electric motor 7, single-phase rectifier 1, choke 2, reservoir capacitor 3 connected in series, converter built in the form of two controlled valves 4, 5 coupled in series with point of their connection being linked to one of outputs of commutating capacitor 6 with capability of control. Protective element 8 is placed between point of connection of choke 2 with first plate of reservoir capacitor. Motor 7 may be both single-phase and multiphase with solid rotor made of magnetically soft material. Drive provides for wide range of control of rotational speed and moment thanks to formation of sinusoidal pulses of alternating current with oscillation circuit which inductance is phase windings of stator of motor 7 and which capacitance is commutating capacitor 6. In case of emergency rectifier drive is cut off by backward voltage of network. EFFECT: improved reliability of control over rotational speed and moment. 2 cl, 7 dwg
