FIELD: cleaning of flue gases in power engineering. SUBSTANCE: Method involves supplying flow of flue gases and mixture of ammonia and diluent gas, for example steam, air, combustion gas, in controlled amount into flue. Weight rate of diluent gas flow is equal to difference between permanent weight rate of flow of mixture of ammonia and diluent gas and variable weight rate of ammonia flow required for reaction with nitric oxide and sulfuric oxide. Mixture feed rate is determined as a function of flue gas flow rate, and ratio between equivalent diameters of flue and gas distributor outlet openings. EFFECT: increased efficiency of cleaning flue gases. 2 dwg
