TANK LEVEL LIMITER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: level control. SUBSTANCE: level limiter has turning head with float. Made in body of head is first inlet channel with floating valve which overlaps second channel. Found in lower part of channel is outlet channel. Outlet channel with floating valve has seat at one side. Seat is secured by branch pipe. Turning head is coupled with shutoff member. Valve of shutoff member is connected to rod which mounts piston arranged in pneumatic cylinder. Head is hinge-mounted on tank neck. Float is arranged with tilting to the left; first valve opens second compressed air channel. Second valve moves along channel closing branch pipe. Compressed air passes from main line into channels, hose, second branch pipe and into space of cylinder. Piston moves upwards, and third valve opens. Filling of tank starts. At end of filling head turns to the right, valve closed second channel cutting off air delivery into cylinder. Piston moves down and third valve closes.
