FIELD: water purification. SUBSTANCE: process includes water intake with subsequent treatment of water with oxidizing agents which are added to blanket filter immediately after water intake, with oxidizing agent being trisodium phosphate. Such oxidant is added in the amount which is calculated depending on D= (2.0-2.5)·C, wherein D is oxidant dose, mg/l, and C is iron concentration in water to be purified, mg/l. EFFECT: higher degree of water purification.
