FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: air cleaner of internal combustion engine has cylindrical housing 1 with inlet radial connection, bottom 3 with outlet axial connection 4, upper cover 5 and lower cover 6, ring filtering element 8 with flexible gasket 9. Fitted around filtering element are: negative electrode 10, positive electrode 12 made in form of C-shaped plate secured on insulators 14 and connected through terminal of insulators 15 with plus terminal of additional and main current sources 16 and 17, respectively; seat-shaped plate connected with positive electrode 12 and installed inside connection along its axis, second positive electrode 22 made in form of cone hollow cone with perforations 23 installed with its base on inner surface of upper cover 5, additional negative electrode 24 installed on walls of inlet connection around seat-shaped plate, second negative electrode 25 installed on inner surface of ring filtering element 8. EFFECT: enhanced cleaning of air.
