FIELD: seal technology. SUBSTANCE: seal has a seal ring made from individual members joined in a lock and pressed to a stationary chamber and a rotary furnace by rollers with a cable with a tension device, the cable is passed through the rollers, and bearing rollers of the seal ring. The lock joint is made in the form of a plate with a slot through which a loop is passed. The plate is welded to the edge of the seal ring member in a spaced relation to the following member to which the loop is welded. A spring-loaded lever engageable with the loop is pivotally mounted on the stationary chamber, and rollers and bearing rollers are made with freely fitted axles fastened on the seal ring members. The seal ring members have posts to which the plate with roller axles mounted on it is fastened. The plate has threaded bushes to receive the roller axles. The lever may be made in the form of a plate which one end enters the bush fastened to the stationary chamber, and the other one enters the lock loop. EFFECT: improved structure. 4 cl, 3 dwg
