FIELD: devices for magnetic recording. SUBSTANCE: components of unit of magnetic heads having pole shoe and receiving part are made during their combination into groups. Half-units of pole shoes, which shape unit of pole-shoes after joining through layer of silicon oxide, are made by cutting intermediate product having sequence of following parts, which are separated by non-magnetic plates: pole shoes, shield redundant to wear and durable insertion. Sequence of these parts is determined by purpose of unit of magnetic heads. U-shaped cores are made in groups too and with help of mandrel having rectangular section. Receiving parts are made by cutting intermediate product which was produced after compounding of U-shaped cores with windings and magnetic shields. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 4 dwg
