FIELD: separation of mineral mixtures. SUBSTANCE: electric drum separator has precipitated electrode in form of vertically installed drum whose outer surface has working chambers with gates arranged between partitions and limiting zones of corona-forming and electrostatic electrodes, charging and discharging devices. Separator has plate in each zone of corona-forming electrode. Plate is made of dielectric material and located along the axis of drum with shelves inclined towards drum generating line.
