FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: nondeformed part of polymeric rod 1 is reinforced over its entire length. Reinforcement is in form of metal stem 2 monolithed in body of polymer anchor. Heated rod is driven by force in hole 5. Softened end of rod 1 is deformed and rod material fills cone-shaped cavity 6 where it cools and hardens.
