FIELD: electric-optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has object, image/electric signal converter formed by dissector and focusing-deflecting unit, analog switches unit, integrating unit, unit for taking logs, two commutators, analog-to-digital converter, control unit, interface, two digital-to-analog converters, saw-tooth voltage generator and video-control unit. The converter is made on the base of the dissector with multialkaline photocathode and grid disposed close to the photocathode. Focusing system is made in form of two short solenoids, medium diameters relate as 1.3: 1. Deflecting system is formed by two saddle-shaped coils without magnetic core. Surface of photocathode of dissector is shifted inside focusing-deflecting unit for value which is no less than 10 mm. EFFECT: improved coordinate precision of roll-out; improved speed of operation; reduced information loss. 2 dwg
