FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transformer of rectifier has primary winding and secondary winding made up of three parts. First part has tap for battery charging voltage and it is arranged on magnetic circuit bar with primary winding; other parts are arranged on other bar. Beginning of first part is connected with end of second part. End of first part is connected with end of third part and it is end of secondary winding. Six thyristors, two diodes and smoothing reactor of rectifier are connected with transformer secondary winding, anode of one diode and cathode of other diode are connected with end of secondary winding, anode of first thyristor and cathode of second thyristor are connected with tap, anode of third thyristor and cathode of fourth thyristor are connected with beginning of third part, and anode of fifth thyristor and cathode of sixth thyristor are connected with beginning of second part. Cathodes of first, third and fifth thyristors and first diode are connected to reactor output. First output of rectifier is formed by second output of reactor. Connected anodes of second, fourth and sixth thyristors and second diode form other output of rectifier. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
