GRIPPING EQUIPMENT FOR GEAR RIM Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gripping equipment has a carrying member, made as a cramp-shaped traverse, each outer lug of which is connected with a hanging member, that hangs on hook of a lifting apparatus. The gripping equipment has an additional gripping member, vertical plates and second lug. Gripping members are hinged to the ends of the traverse and face each other. Vertical plates are fixed to ends of gripping members and capable to engage with load by upper protruding butts and lower butts are tied together by a clamp. Lugs are located on inner horizontal edge of the traverse and are capable to be engaged with cavities of a gear surface of the load. EFFECT: equipment is used for gripping of gear rings of rotating aggregates drums. 2 dwg
