METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TUBE CLEANSING FROM CONSERVATION GREASE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2010037 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method and apparatus provides for treatment of tubes, placed in a cassette, by working solution with subjecting the tubes to asymmetric vibrodynamic action, that is alternately cyclically applied to opposite butt sides of the cassette to form in inner cavity of the tubes turbulent streams with time alternating directions of flow. The stream directions make normals to the tubes output planes. Time of one cycle of the asymmetric vibrodynamic action is determined by formula with T - total time of cleansing process; t0 - time between change of cycles, that is necessary to calm down a directed turbulent stream; n - number of cycles of exercised action. To activate the asymmetric vibrodynamic action they use 50 - 100 Hz range. Vibration members of the apparatus are made as platform with horizontal flanges, intermediate section ribs with triangular shape cuttings, entire butt sides, shock- absorbers and a traverse rib. Exciting members are located above the surface of working solution. Shock-absorbers are mounted on corners of the platform. The traverse rib is made in cylindric form with cantilever, fixed in the central part of the bottom. Height if the shock-absorber equals to 0.9 - 0.95 of the height of the traverse rib. EFFECT: method and apparatus are used for metal etching and degreasing pieces for chemical or mechanical processing. 4 cl, 5 dwg
