ELECTROLYZER OF FILTER-PRESS TYPE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2010038 C1

FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has communicating vessels, that are filled with liquid and have floats, connected to valves. Vessels are connected with gas-pipes of electrolyzer. Vessels are made according to the form of the frames of the electrolyzer in one pack with electrolyzing cells, through which they are communicating with each other. The first gas containing vessel, working pressure of which is higher, has a coupling for the gas outgoing. Its float and valve are used for keeping constant level of electrolyte due to addition of water to it and so providing a constant level of the liquid and increasing reliability of the apparatus work. Gas with much lower pressure, goes through the valve, tied with the float of the second vessel, that increases efficiency of gas usage due to exclusion of one vessel gas escape into the air. EFFECT: apparatus has increased reliability and efficiency of its work. 2 dwg
