FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: lock with press key has body, two spring-loaded cleats with inclined step grooves, press key with two rows of skew code projections, carrier and turning-retaining handle mounted on carrier. Body has central longitudinal groove with cut located along it and having round recesses at cut ends in positions - closed-open and turning retaining handle has cylindrical neck with two flats opposite to each other. Neck is made to ensure turning of handle in round recess. Flats provide for free motion of retaining handle along cut of central groove. Availability of carrier introduced into brought into coincidence cuts of both cleats and combining manual control of cleats and turning retaining handle freely moving in cut of central longitudinal groove and locking both cleats in positions - closed-open by means of turning round its axis through 90 deg provides for convenient and reliable locking of lock from the inside.
