FIELD: instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: arrester has a fixed part - support 1 with two ducts 2 and 3. One of them receives PVC paste 4, and the other - two plungers 7, whose pins 8 rest against spring-loaded segments 9 with a toroid-shaped external surface. PVC paste 4 is placed between plungers 7. Spring-loaded piston 6 rests against PVC paste 4, the piston is positioned in air duct 5 running to air collector 13 provided with thin membrane 14 and electromagnet 15, whose core 16 carries punch 17. Air pumped from air collector 13 into air duct 5 pushes piston 6 into PVC paste 4. PVC paste 4 spreads segments 9 against the stop in the toroidal surface of object 18. At spreading of segments 9 an electric signal is remotely transmitted to electromagnet 15. Punch 17 punches membrane 14, air is released, and toroidal segments 9 get disengaged from object 18. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the locking assembly and decreased force at spreading of remote-control unit. 1 dwg
