FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: resistance to supercooling, particularly in water, is achieved by administering a combination of 5 mg/kg of relanium with 500 mg/kg sodium oxybutyrate 30 minutes before the beginning of cooling. For practical treatment it is recommended that 10 mg of relanium be given together with 2 g of sodium oxybutyrate immediately before cooling. Relanium in the claimed agent may be replaced by any pharmaceutical analog in the same dose, i. e. 10 mg. EFFECT: improved resistance of organism to supercooling in water due to effect on thermoregulating mechanisms, central nervous and cardiovascular systems. 3 tbl
