FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: manipulator has trolley provided with electric motor associated with reduction gear and drive sprockets engaged with rail track sprockets. Right and left sides of trolley are connected with each other by means of cross-beams carrying carriage provided with recess. Mounted between trolley and carriage are power cylinders. Power cylinders are arranged in parallel with each other and are pivotally secured on base, while their rods are rigidly secured to front and rear parts of carriage body respectively. Front cross beam carries pin with rotary block entering recess of carriage. Suspended inside carriage is yoke with tongs. Yoke suspension is essentially leverage system including cross axles with two L-shaped levers, vertical ties and reaction ties. Front part of carriage supports power cylinders. Manipulator tongs are connected with electric drive through universal joint shaft. EFFECT: improved safety and reliability of manipulator operation. 2 dwg
