FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing of the mechanism has gas chamber accommodating valve and cocking chamber communicating with delivery pipeline. Valve with stepped striker pin forms closed space communicating hydraulically with delivery and discharge pipelines in turn. Mounted on other side of gas chamber is piston, opposite end of which is connected by control valve with delivery or discharge pipeline. Piston diameter is larger than diameter of valve. Impact force is ensured by rated air pressure built up by compressor. Higher impact forces are achieved due to increased air pressure in gas chamber at initial moment of striker cocking or by increased air pressure both at initial moment of striker cocking and at moment of striker impact against tool. Increase of impact force may be varied within wide range by selecting needed diameter and stroke of piston. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
