FIELD: current conversion. SUBSTANCE: converter has transformer 1, whose primary winding has a tap from a section of turns and the secondary winding is connected to the input of rectifier 2, connected to the output of the rectifier are filter 3, relay 4 with control circuit 5 that is parallel-connected to the output of filter 3, the break contact of relay 4 is connected to the tap of the transformer primary winding, and the make contact - to one of the extreme taps of the primary winding, as well as dynistor amplitude clipper - limiter 6 connected between the relay movable contact and common point of connection of the relay fixed contact to the above tap of the transformer primary winding. EFFECT: introduction of limiter 6 provides for a decrease of the break time of the circuit connecting the inverter to the power mains, which allows the output voltage to be maintained within the preset limits at relay operation. 2 dwg
