FIELD: peat mining. SUBSTANCE: stumper has frame movable in vertical plane and carrying working tool with central and side stumping teeth, which are disposed on undercutting knife serving as stop. Central stumping tooth is mounted on bracket and side teeth are attached on undercutting knife at inner side of its angle equal to 80-100 deg. Space between side stumping teeth and front cutting edge of knife is at least 1/3-1/4 of knife width. Undercutting knife is provided with rear cutting edge.
