FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: workpiece feed occurs through a hole in the pipe. The housings and sleeve are interconnected by two screws. One of the housings can move along two bushings relative to the other. Rotation from the output shaft of the worm reduction gear is transmitted to the cam installed on an axle, while rotating the cam rests against the roller surface. As a result, the spring-loaded rod reciprocates, and jaw 27, hinge-joined to it, swings relative to the pin of lock 28 transmitting motion to the housing through a bearing. The housing reciprocates along the bushings, providing the movement of the workpiece along the feed and chuck assembly. While rotating, the cam rests against the roller surface; as a result, ear 44, hinge-joined to spring-loaded lever 41, transmits motion to stem 38. The rotating workpiece is expanded due to the pressure on it exerted by expansion head 39 of stem 38. The disc knife is rotated and moved in the direction towards the workpiece, and cuts it. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 10 dwg
