FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: antifriction bearing has outer race with ring grooves at faces and fitted-in shields, and inner race. Each shield is made with peripheral part in form of ring corrugation installed for contact with side surfaces of ring groove. Slots may be made on peripheral part of corrugation. Ring grooves can be made trapezoidal in section with sides arranged at angle not less than 45 degrees relative to base. Each shield at bearing inner race side has circular pinch. EFFECT: enhanced insulation of space between outer and inner races of bearing. 4 cl, 3 dwg
