FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has bushing 2 and hub 2 of clutch disk 5 and radially spring-loaded pawls 13 and 38 for each direction of rotation. Pawls can engage with recesses 11 and 39. Pawl travel motion control is provided by control ring 23 with control members. Pawls not engaged in transmission of rotation are completely brought out of recesses. Given in description of invention are different versions of design and arrangement of control surfaces on pawls and control members. Shifting of control ring is provided by engagement mechanism which can be loaded by brake effort. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 13 cl, 6 dwg
