FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: device provides for smooth distribution of cooling agent and enhances cooling of tube sheet at temperature of gas higher than 1000 C. Tube sheet 3 has cooling passages 7 and is located on side of gas inlet. Tubes 1 are passed through cooling passages 7. End walls of these passages have permanent thickness on the side of gas inlet. Passages 7 may have tunnel-shaped profile and cooling agent chamber 10 may be circular in shape, may be located around tube sheet 3 and may be brought in communication with inlet and outlet ends of passages 7. In other version, cooling agent inlet chamber is located on half the perimeter of tube sheet 3 and is made integral with respective sections of envelope and tube sheet and inlet end of each passage 7 is brought in communication with chamber through axial hole in tube sheet. EFFECT: smooth distribution of cooling agent and enhanced cooling of tube sheet at temperature of gas higher than 1000 C.
