FIELD: non-destructing control. SUBSTANCE: uniform alternate axially symmetric magnetic field is excited. Frequency of the magnetic field is changed till achieving maximal value of phase angle of total magnetic flux. Value of normalized total magnetic flux of maximal phase angle of the total magnetic flux is carried, as well as frequency of probing magnetic field. Parameters of continuous cylindrical conducting objects are determined from the set relations. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 3 dwg
