FIELD: measuring devices. SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of delays of envelopes for surface and reflected radio pulses, calculation of corrections for these delays. When correction for envelope of surface radio pulse is computed, then reflected radio pulse is compensated in synthesized radio signal. When correction for envelope of reflected radio pulse is computed, then surface radio pulse is compensated in synthesized radio signal. Precise delays of surface and reflected pulses is achieved by addition of corresponding delays of envelopes and corrections. EFFECT: increased precision. 6 dwg
