FIELD: electric engineering for mining. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying communication line by rectified single-period voltage, pulses corresponding to state of sensors are generated from this voltage. Control is performer by comparison of generated pulses and standard ones. Control instructions are generated according results of comparison. Then pulse train which pulse duration depends on turn-on or turn-off state. Duration of generated pulses is compared to duration of standard ones. Device for control of remote sensors has two-wire communication line. One end of this line has rectifying diode and terminal of sensor connected in series. Another end has alternating voltage power supply, which is connected to wires of communication line, unit for testing and instruction generation, pulse duration shaper, element for galvanic isolation, indication element, interface element, executing unit which output serves as device output and which is combined with one terminal of indication element which second output along with input of executing unit are connected to unit for testing and instruction generation through interface unit. Input of unit for testing and instruction generation is connected through galvanic isolation element to corresponding terminals of pulse duration shaper which input as well as input of galvanic isolation element are connected to corresponding wires of communication line.
