FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: providing an assembly of sections composed of the same number of alternating layers of lead foil, X-ray transparent material and adhesive composition symmetrically relative to a central vertical plane, moulding in the assembly by section-wise squeezing at room temperature in a liquid phase of adhesive composition and polymerizing in the compressed state of assembly with further keeping till full polymerization in free state, sawing out it into rasters and treating their surfaces. The method is characterized in that blanks are preliminarily manufactured by rolling and calibrating in warmed-up rolls the lead foil squeezed on both sides by a film of X-ray transparent material laminated with polyethylene.
