FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for charging agglomerate on linear cooling equipment has a closed chute, arranged over a grate web with beads, having self-lining front and rear ( according to motion direction of the web ) walls and self-lining partition and a screen, both placed between the walls. The front and the rear walls of the chute and the partition are inclined to a side of the web motion. The screen is fixed and inclined to a side, opposite to a cooling agent motion, and secured to an upper part of the partition and the rear wall, providing an accumulating hopper between them and lateral walls of the chute. The chute is provided by movable limiters of a height of a layer, placed on a lower part of the rear wall on its central portion horizontally and on its lateral portions - with inclination relative to the beads of the cooling equipment by angle 30-40 degrees relative to a horizontal line. A distance in horizontal plane between the lower edges of the rear wall and the partition is equal to 0,1-0,2 of size of an output opening of the hopper in horizontal plane; a distance between the lower edge of the partition and a filled of the grate consists 0,5-0,7 of the height of the beads of the cooling equipment.
