FIELD: industrial building materials. SUBSTANCE: tumbling barrel has drive drum with milling charge and working members in the form of sloping gratings. Tumbling barrel is provided with auxiliary working members in the form of sloping ellipses located on both sides of each grating and in spaced relation to it. Ellipses are inclined to opposite side to the same angle as grating. Inclined gratings and ellipses are assembled into sections, ellipses are perforated. Sections of inclined gratings and ellipses are turned relative to each other along circumference. EFFECT: enhanced operating capability. 1 dwg
