FIELD: extrusion technique. SUBSTANCE: die has fixed female die with ejector and movable male die having centering step with rest end and working step. Length of working step is equal to depth of barrel to be manufactured. On cylindrical surface of centering step of male die recesses running along its axis from stop end are made, their maximum depth does not exceed half- difference in diameters of centering and working steps of male die. Above female die there is puller with projections received in recesses of centering step of male die. Recesses on male die are made on sectors of formation of smaller thickness of wall of produced different-wall barrel. EFFECT: enhanced operating capability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
