FIELD: electric drives of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: device has shaft carrying wheel journalled in bearing. Rotor of the electric motor is made up of two independent parts rigidly secured in an interior confined by inner, side, and outer walls of sleeve. Positioned between parts of the rotor is a stator secured to flange affixed to the shaft. Cylindrical surfaces of the stator have grooves receiving windings. Cylindrical surfaces of rotor parts facing the stator have recesses for cooling. EFFECT: improved design, enhanced efficiency in operation. 4 dwg
