FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: a physical parameter is transformed, under the influence of environment temperature, into a frequency signal. The temperature value is simultaneously transformed into a frequency signal also. Physical parameter and temperature frequency signals are converted in digital codes, with frequency signal pulse counting interval for the physical parameter being set proportional to those for the temperature signal and to the ratio of conversion factor for the temperature to the conversion factor for the influencing environment temperature by the physical parameter transformation. The value of the measured physical parameter is determined by the difference of physical parameter code and temperature code. The device of the invention comprises a temperature transducer, a physical parameter sensor, controllable switches, a switch control unit, a reversible counter, registers, decoders with indicators, and counting interval driver. The physical parameter frequency signal and temperature frequency signal are alternately connected to a counting input of the reversible counter for the set interval of time, with reversing of countdown.
