ARRANGEMENT FOR RETRIEVING MELT FROM INDUCTION CHANNEL FURNACES Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2013733 C1

FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: arrangement has main channel in the form of electrically insulated refractory pipe whose end can be joined with channel mouth of the furnace, and transport channel. The main channel is embraced by poles of magnetic circuit whose yoke is located at the side of the starting portion of the transport channel. The magnetic circuit is separated from melt by a heat shield. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in operation. 3 dwg
