FIELD: rail transportation. SUBSTANCE: method involves driving loaded car to unloading location; moving stop 4 form its initial horizontal position by means of lifting and lowering mechanism 6 to vertical operating position until it comes into contact with limiter 5; switching car body rotating mechanism 1 to turn car body with load to unloading position till car body is fixed, with stop 4 being disposed at the point above center of gravity of car body weight. As a result, moment of stability sufficient to prevent car from turning-over is created. Then material is discharged through open car side into reception hopper. When unloading is completed, stop 4 resumes its initial position and car body also returns to its initial transport position.
