SUBSTANCE: glaze has the following components, wt.- %: silicon oxide 49-51; aluminium oxide 8.5-9.0; calcium oxide 8.5-9.5; magnesium oxide 3.0-3.5; zinc oxide 1.5-2.2; sodium oxide 3.0-3.3; ferric (III) oxide 1.8-2.2; boron oxide 12-14; zirconium oxide 2-3; barium oxide 0.8-1.2; silicon carbide 4.7-5.5. Glaze properties: making point is 1350 C, roasting point is 950 C, thermal stability is 290-300 C, Mohs scale hardness is 6.5- 7.9, luster is 80± 2%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of glaze. 1 tbl
