FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: ceramic tubes from burners of sodium VAPOR high-pressure lamps are rebuilt by treatment of burners in solution of nitric acid with concentration of 10-25% at temperature from 40 to 50 C for 20-30 h. Then used solution of nitric acid is treated with 2-34% aqueous solution of ammonia to pH = 9-10. After this solution is filtered, residue is dried at 100-150 C and is calcined at temperature exceeding 400 C. Filtrate is treated with 4-50% solution of sodium hydroxide to pH = 11-12. After this additional filtering of solution is performed and filtrate is treated with 4-40% solution of hydrochloric acid to pH = 7-8. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
